      This Giving Tuesday, December 1, UNICEF USA will host an exclusive virtual fundraiser to celebrate and empower children around the world. The event will kick off the holiday season and raise funds in support of UNICEF’s work to save and improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.

      The program will feature changemakers from around the globe, including UNICEF experts, advocates, and future leaders who use their voices to support and amplify UNICEF’s lifesaving mission. The event will show the breadth of UNICEF’s work and showcase its global response yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

      Guest appearances will be made by UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom, UNICEF Ambassadors Halima Aden, Pau Gasol, and Alyssa Milano and UNICEF Supporters Gemma Chan, Charli D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, Billie Eilish, FINNEAS, Laurie Hernandez, Danielle Kang, Kofi Kingston, Justin H. Min, Naomi Osaka, and Satou Sabally along with many others. The evening will feature special performances by UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Katy Perry, UNICEF Ambassadors Sofia Carson and P!NK, and UNICEF Supporter Liam Payne. The live fundraising appeal will be led by Harry Santa-Olalla.

      UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories and has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the lives of people around the world, especially children, have been significantly disrupted. It has established a new “normal” that has physical, social and emotional consequences for children— consequences that communities and parents need tools to address. UNICEF is helping to reduce and address the impact of COVID-19 on families by distributing supplies and prevention kits to schools and clinics around the world, providing practical tips and information to parents, and offering education-driven and healing activities for children. UNICEF won’t stop until every child has a chance at an equitable future.
